Copyright and Open Access
Open Access Statement:
Chinese General Practice flipped to an open access (OA) journal in 2022. Since the 1st issue of 2022, all articles of this journal, once published, will be permanently available to all non-commercial users through the official website of this journal (https://www.chinagp.net/) to read, download, copy, disseminate, print and link to the full text etc for free, without prior permission from the publisher or authors. Permitted third party reuse of the articles published by the journal is defined by the following user license: Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0). Reusers must give appropriate credit, provide a link to the license, and indicate if changes were made. Reusers may do so in any reasonable manner, but not in any way that suggests the licensor endorses the use. Reusers may not use the material for commercial purposes. If reusers remix, transform, or build upon the material, they may not distribute the modified material. The authors have right to spread or make use of the article under the CC BY-NC-ND 4.0 License. Copyright and Permission:
It is required to provide Copyright Transfer Agreement signed by all authors and the editorial office for manuscript accepted. Authors are required to transfer the copyright of the article to Editorial Office of Chinese General Practice and agree the article shall be open access under CC BY-NC-ND 4.0 License after publication. Authors and third-parties have right to share the articles (such as stored in institutional repositories), or use it for other academic (non-commercial) purposes under the CC BY-NC-ND (Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives) 4.0 license.
The copyright owner allows others to copy, distribute, exhibit, perform, show, broadcast, or disseminate their published articles to the public through internet. However, during these processes, the other party must give proper credit to authors. The above use are limited to non-commercial purposes and cannot be used for deductive creation.
Archive
All journal articles from the 1st issue of 2015 have been digitally archived and can be read and downloaded from this website free of charge. All those articles are open access with user’s rights defined by CC BY-NC-ND 4.0 License. Articles published from 1985 to 2014 are not open access. For those article, this website doesn’t provide full text but a link to Weipu (CQVIP) for reading. In order to ensure data security, all information has also been backed up in the editorial office. The hard copy of each issue of the journal had also been kept in the editorial office for archiving. In addition, other relevant materials are also kept by the editorial office, such as supplementary information and forms provided by the authors.
Publishing fees
For the cost of open access publishing, an article publishing charge (APC) shall be payable by authors, institutes, or funding projects. The charging standard is about RMB 800 per page.
